There’s a much longer story to be told here, but the short version is, when the partners of my former agency parted ways, one of them wanted to continue with our legacy and rebuild and improve where Reign left off. Leigh approached me to be his creative director and we founded a new agency, determined in a new approach and a different dynamic. We started small and eventually grew. My role was largely all things creative, including design, video, illustration, and photography, but a large portion of my day was dedicated to web development and maintenance. As they say, one has to wear many hats when running a small agency.
Our projects varied largely in scope and ambition and allowed us to play with a number of mediums in order to accomplish our clients’ goals. The key takeaway being, we always hit our deadlines, and we always gave it our all.
Eventually, I had caught the attention of Where Y’at Magazine while they were seeking a new creative director so I reluctantly approached my new role with the understanding that I could step in when needed to help.
