I wanted to have a little book on the life and work of one of my favorite painters, Amedeo Modigliani, and so it exists. I had bound this book by hand, using charcoal drawing papers to print the inside pages, metallic paper for the end pages, and printed on raw canvas for the cover.
I had bound quite a few books up to this point, and for some reason, the pure simplicity of this one brings me the most joy. I believe because it’s due to its tactile nature and warmth.
